Li Huili Institute of Technology Background and History of Shoemaking Courses
The predecessor of the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education was the Technical Institute (TI) and the Hong Kong Institute of Technology (Technical College, TC). The original 7 technical colleges (Lee Wai Lee, Wong Haeking, Kwai Chung, Sha Tin, Tuen Mun, Kwun Tong and Mori Chen Shan) and two technical colleges (Chai Wan, Tsing Yi) were merged in 1999. The nine branch schools were once managed by the Nexus system and divided into three school groups: Chai Wan school group (including Chai Wan, Wong Keking and Lee Wai Lee), Tsing Yi school group (including Tsing Yi, Morrison Hill and Tuen Mun) ) And the Shatin school group (including the Shatin, Kwai Chung and Kwun Tong branch schools), this system continued to be cancelled in the 2008/09 school year. Since 2009/10, it has been replaced by the Discipline Matrix Management System (Discipline Matrix Management System).
Li Huili Institute of Technology was established in 1979. The only branch school that offers preschool education, social services (elderly services), optics, opticians, shoe technicians, watchmaking, jewelry design, and automotive engineering.
